FutureForge 2026: Building the Future Network of Young Professionals

1 May 2026 | 3 min read

On Thursday 23rd April 2026, we were proud to host our second FutureForge Event at Smiths of Smithfield in Farringdon, bringing together the next generation of talent from across the professional services industry for an evening of connection, conversation and momentum.

Building the Next Generation Network

FutureForge was created with a clear purpose of creating a space for young professionals to connect with others at a similar stage across the professional services industry.

There was a clear need to bring early-career professionals together and create space for meaningful, lasting connections. In an industry where networks matter, we wanted to build something that felt more natural, open and relevant to the next generation.

Following the success of its launch in 2024, it returned this year to continue building a more accessible, supportive approach to networking. The evening was designed to move beyond traditional networking, a space where conversations could happen organically, ideas could be shared freely and relationships could begin in a way that feels genuine.

An Evening That Delivered

From the moment the evening began, the room was filled with energy and momentum. With a strong turnout of young professionals, the space quickly came to life, conversations flowing, introductions turning into meaningful exchanges, and connections naturally forming throughout the night.

Hosted on a private first floor space at Smiths of Smithfield in Farringdon, the setting created a perfect balance of relaxed yet professional, an environment where people felt comfortable to engage and connect. What could have been just another thursday evening after the office, became something far more dynamic, with a real sense of momentum from start to finish.

Building a Community

At its core, FutureForge is about helping young professionals build confidence, offering the opportunity to exchange ideas, explore career paths, gain practical insight and connect with peers navigating similar journeys.

The evening delivered just that; a sense of genuine engagement. People weren’t just there to attend, they were there to connect, learn and build something. From sharing experiences and offering advice to meeting like-minded individuals, the room reflected exactly what FutureForge was designed to achieve.

It’s about more than one evening, it’s about building a stronger, more connected community of young professionals who can grow together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night what it was. The energy, openness and willingness to connect is what brings FutureForge to life.

If you would like to join us for future events or find out more about our services and advisory expertise, we’d love to talk.
