Euan is committed to supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring that BAND facilitates their achievement of goals and maximises their potential. He expertly manages and leverages strategic partnerships with banks, lawyers, and other professional service partners. Outside of his professional pursuits, Euan has been passionately playing the drums for 20 years.
Eloise Hutchinson
Business Manager Associate
Eloise is part of the Client Services team, supporting clients with account management, financial administration and day-to-day business matters. She brings a client-focused approach to her work, helping to provide a seamless and responsive service to clients across the music and entertainment industries.
Outside of work, Eloise enjoys playing tennis.
Gary Woodhall
CEO
Working with clients for over 20 years ensuring their compliance and regulatory needs are met. Gary’s experience comes with a fundamental desire to understand the business and industries his clients work, allowing him to practically navigate the complex world of audit and financial reporting. A family man, gym enthusiast and a love for the outdoors with an inner child he won’t let go of (think gaming, Lego and Marvel).
Hayley Tait
Head of Finance
Hayley oversees our internal finances and ensures our numbers align perfectly. She delivers monthly management information and serves as a first point of contact for all matters of a financial nature. It’s not all about the numbers however for Hayley. Outside the office, it’s travel and some good Italian food that sparks her interest and we shouldn’t forget her cat, Charlie who has a special place in her heart.
Neil Stammers
Non-Executive Chairman
Tasked with seeking to optimise the individual and collective contributions from a management team that has an abundance of creative thinking, talent, and energy. Stimulated by most things that are design led, which includes getting involved with building a couple of houses during lockdown. Enjoys pretty much all sport, mainly viewing, but also playing a little – and still kids himself that he can improve.
Fiora Banousi
Head of Brand & Creative
Keeps all things creative under control. She oversees our brand identity and collaborates on impactful marketing campaigns as well as social media designs. When she’s not at her desk, you’ll find her looking for the next Japanese restaurant to visit on the weekend.
Rob Quinn
Head of Creative Industries
Former marketing agency owner, now leading the Creative Industries team at BAND with responsibility across our agency, music, TV & Film client portfolio, whilst also overseeing brand, marketing and creative strategy for the group. Passionate about travel and sport, particularly when combined together
Marie Sadler
Junior Graphic Designer
Marie is our junior graphic designer, supporting brand rollouts and day-to-day design. She builds social posts, adapts artwork/templates, and preps files for print and web. From layout tweaks, iconography, and retouching to spec checks and exports, she keeps assets sharp. Off the clock, it’s chill hangouts with friends and a steady stream of crime documentaries.
Vasu Majumdar
Senior Advisor Corporate Finance Creative Industries
A corporate finance deal maker specialising in mergers and acquisitions, sale to Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs), business valuations, private equity, management buy outs (MBOs) and strategy. A keen rackets sports enthusiast and a former county level squash player, he is a Trustee of The Queens Club Foundation which promotes rackets sports in local communities and state schools at a grass root level.
Nathan Tinkler
Director
Nathan brings composure, perspective and process to any business of any size. His 20 years of experience brings a deep-rooted knowledge of finance, taxation and commercial decision matters. His relaxed manner belies a ferociously analytical mind, particularly when it comes to managing his Fantasy Premier League team.
Cassie Stevens
People & Operations Coordinator
Manages all aspects of new client onboarding, maintains client data, and typically serves as the first point of contact for various client inquiries. Behind the scenes, she takes care of internal responsibilities, including office party planning and handling scary invoices. Outside of work, you’ll find her running after her two kids, and whenever she can find time, she immerses herself in the world of Asian cinema.

Entrepreneur, investor, proven expert in scaling businesses and well-connected across the professional industries sector. Chris feeds off working with business owners to understand and overcome their challenges. A frustrated creative in his own right with an interest in the arts.
Shiv Halai
Client Services Director
Shiv is a commercially focused and relationship-led adviser, known for delivering tailored accounting, tax, audit, and corporate finance solutions to high-growth businesses, entrepreneurs, and family offices. With deep experience across M&A, Tax, real estate finance, R&D tax relief, and strategic business planning, Shiv partners closely with clients to unlock value, drive growth, and navigate complex financial decisions with confidence. His approach is proactive, clear, and always aligned to the bigger picture — making him a trusted long-term adviser to boards and leadership teams. Shiv thrives on building meaningful relationships and seeing clients succeed. His ability to simplify the complex and deliver results has made him a go-to name in the advisory space. Outside of work, Shiv is a proud family man with a passion for aviation, fitness, and the outdoors. He also loves to travel, explore new cultures, and experience the world — always bringing fresh perspective to the people and businesses he works with.
Ediz Reyman
Client Manager
Ediz is the go-to guy for getting statutory accounts and tax returns over the line — on time, on point, and without the stress. He loves diving into the details and cracking tricky problems, turning complex numbers into simple solutions. Outside the office, Ediz is usually glued to a football match, mapping out his next adventure, or enjoying a well-earned cold beer with family and friends.
Hasan Zareen
R&D Tax Analyst
Hasan is committed to maximising shareholder value through the identification and analysis of eligible R&D tax credits ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation, and supporting reinvestment and innovation in the UK. Beyond the office, you can find him running around London where he enjoys capturing his adventures through videography.
Joe Darby
R&D Senior Operations Manager
Joe brings over five years of R&D experience, participating in the inaugural cohort of R&D certification. Committed to his clients’ projects and objectives, he builds lasting relationships and stays up to date with their ongoing developments. In his spare time, you’ll find him eating Wingstop or watching Aston Villa.
Jon Elphick
Managing Tax Partner
Jon is our Managing Tax Partner, having taken over the role at MDA in 2020. Jon has almost 25 years’ experience in private client tax and is known for his personal led approach to tax planning and his ability to ensure clients understand their tax situation and the advice being provided. Jon specialises in tax planning for individuals and their private structures, as well as Owners Managed Businesses, and holds the Advanced Diploma in International Tax qualification, as well as being a Fellow of the ATT.
Outside the office, Jon enjoys cooking, he is an FA qualified football coach, which he uses to help coach his eldest son’s youth football team and he also acts as a Trustee for the club.
Sian Armitage
Head of Private Client Tax
Sian is a Chartered Tax Adviser. Sian advises international clients whose tax affairs have a UK nexus whether that be performance or residency based, or investments in the UK. This includes simplifying the UK tax policy and providing a solution in simple and efficient way. She reviews international structures to ascertain their tax efficiency in the UK, including consideration of the mismatch of tax treatment of various entities between the UK and other tax jurisdictions and application of the various Double Tax Agreements. Sian focuses on the individual and their needs, including their long-term aims (e.g. passing their wealth to the next generation, financial security or growing their presence or business). Sian makes tax easy for her clients.
Sian enjoys politics and discussing tax policy, including the need for meaningful change.
Paul Glickman
Senior Tax Manager
Paul has been a private client tax advisor for nearly 20 years. He specialises in the tax issues that face internationally mobile high net worth individuals and their structures, providing tailored advice to meet their specific needs as well as dealing with their compliance requirements and any HMRC enquiries.
Outside of the office he spends his time with family or out on the golf course.
Max Walker
Assistant Tax Manager
Max joined Mark Davies & Associates in 2023 as a law graduate from the University of Leeds. He is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and is currently studying to become a Chartered Tax Adviser. He advises HNWI and UHNWI on an extensive range of personal tax matters. Max’s work ranges from the preparation of tax returns to producing advice on residence and effective tax planning. His experience also extends to assisting with HMRC enquiries, Inheritance Tax matters and cross-border tax issues.
Outside of work, Max enjoys travelling, playing tennis and trying new restaurants.
Anton Coulthurst
R&D Tax Consultant
Anton has nine years’ experience in the R&D sector, with a technical background in Organic Chemistry, Formulation Science. Previously working directly with fuel additives and lubricants, he has a first-hand understanding of the technical challenges inherent in industrial innovation. Outside work, he enjoys travelling, tending his allotment, and a good pub quiz.
Ellie Finlay
Client Manager
Ellie is responsible for preparing and submitting statutory accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns, as well as supporting the audit service and helping ensure compliance services are delivered accurately and on time.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading a good book and going to Pilates.
Julian Theunissen
Management Accountant
Julian supports the in-house finance team, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, going to the gym, running, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.
Michael Stephenson
Client Services Director
Mike has 12 years’ experience in industry and financial practice across the world of media, primarily Film, TV and music. From big 4 audit to global film financing to a major recording label and beyond, Mike has specific expertise in tax-efficient investment products, supply chain finance, budgeting and forecasting, project financing and financial modelling. When he’s not deep-diving into spreadsheets, Mike enjoys running, cycling and the occasional triathlon.
Martin Rees
Client Business Manager
Martin manages a portfolio of music and creative industry clients, providing tailored financial and business management support. I build strong client relationships, oversee their financial affairs, and deliver practical advice to help them achieve their personal and business goals.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, with his two daughters, dog and cat keeping them busy! When he’s not with them, he enjoys watching and, where possible, playing a variety of sports, discovering new music, and watching films. He also enjoys cooking and trying the latest viral lunch hotspot.
Andrew Johnson
Head of Sport
Takes pride in shaping the next generation of talent through educational initiatives, as well as helping athletes transition seamlessly from professional sport to the world of business. His career complements with his passion of being a full-time uber driver for his children.
Matthew Arnison
Client Liaison
Matt is the friendly face and first point of contact for every client at BAND – managing the full journey from onboarding and compliance checks through to ongoing account management, making sure nothing falls through the cracks along the way. Outside the office, Matt is either at the gym, on the sports field or spending time with his family and friends.
Archie Greenwood
Tax Assistant
A Finance and Accounting graduate from Durham University, Archie supports the tax team across a range of client work, from assisting with the preparation of tax returns to tax research and wider advisory projects. Outside of work, Archie enjoys playing rugby and golf, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Ishbel Stuart
Tax Assistant
Ishbel assists with the preparation of tax compliance work for both private and corporate clients. Her role includes preparing tax returns, supporting associated administrative duties, and drafting advice to assist the wider team.
She is currently pursuing her ATT qualification with the Association of Taxation Technicians. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, painting, and bouldering.
Shelley Watkin
Client Finance Director
A qualified Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of experience in the marketing services sector. During her 5+ years at Redfin, she served as Client Finance Director offering invaluable insights into strategic and commercial matters. Shelley has also assumed the role of Finance Director for various creative agencies, guiding them through successful sales processes. If she gets free time after managing her children’s busy schedules, she likes to chill out doing yoga and gardening.
Tony McMonies
Finance Manager
From a career in science to one in financial management, Tony is responsible for managing internal accounting and preparing management reports for a variety of clients across various industries. As he has a teenage daughter who loves to spend his hard-earned cash, most weekends you’ll find him at his local sports club watching all kinds of sports and having a few drinks.
Nick Tayler
Associate Tax Director
Nick is a Chartered Tax Adviser specialising in UK tax for internationally mobile clients, particularly those with foreign-owned companies or offshore trust structures. He trained as a Chartered Accountant with EY in Guernsey before moving to London in 2017 to join Mark Davies & Associates. Nick advises HNW and UHNW private clients on a broad range of UK tax matters, including UK arrival and exit planning, double tax treaties, remittances and mixed fund analysis, as well as personal and family investment company structuring. He builds rapport by listening carefully to his clients’ needs and delivering tailored, practical advice. Outside of work Nick enjoys live music and relaxing with friends and family.
Matt Livesey
Head of BAND Real Estate
Matt Livesey is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 25 years’ experience advising occupiers and investors on their commercial real estate needs. He enjoys helping clients navigate property challenges and build strategies that support their long-term business goals. Outside work, Matt is a keen sailor and has completed six Fastnet races.
Sam Curwen
Tax Assistant
Sam joined Mark Davies & Associates in 2026 and works across a range of personal tax matters for internationally mobile and high-net-worth clients. He is currently studying towards the ACA and CTA qualifications, having previously completed an MSc in Law and Finance at Durham University and a degree in Economics and Management at Loughborough University.
Outside of work, Sam is a keen rugby player, enjoys travelling, skiing, tennis and shooting, and is working towards his Private Pilot Licence.
He makes the most of any opportunity to be outdoors, whether getting competitive in sport or relaxing in the countryside.
